The AGM index registered a month-on-month decline for the third straight month, before posting another month-on-month decline in June.
The composite ended the month at 185.34, up 6.41 points, or 3.6%, from last month.
Game Equipment Manufacturers Association (AGM), which compiles the index, and research firm Applied Analysis LLC said the AGEM index was up 26.69 points from a year ago, up 16.8%.
During June, six of the 17 global game equipment makers tracked by the index reported monthly stock gains, with two companies up more than 20% - with International Game Technology (IGT) up 26.77%, and Scientific Games up 24.25%.
IGT confirmed last month that it was exploring options to sell, and Scientific Games announced the appointment of Gavin Isaacs as its new CEO.
Two of the 10 manufacturers whose shares fell were down more than 10%. GTech SpA was down 11.59% from the previous month, while Wells Gardner Electronics was down 18.82%.
Galaxy Gaming, a U.S. company that supplies casino table games and electronic jackpot bonus systems, was added to the June index.
